Think on this: “O magnify the LORD with me and let us exalt his name together. … Taste and see that the LORD is good; blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him. Fear the LORD, all you his saints, for those who fear him lack nothing.” (Psalm 34:3, 8-9).
Pray this: Gracious Father, in this world of growing anti-Israel, anti-Zionist and anti-Semitism in the Arab/Muslim world, in Europe and even in secular academia America as well as far too many evangelicals, grant the followers of Jesus grace and courage to stand unashamedly in solidarity with Israel and the Jewish people. In Jesus Name — Amen!
Being on site at Auschwitz Poland would bring such grief, sorrow, and pain. It would testify against me (Christians) for standing back like a turtle with head drawn inward while the horrors and atrocities were being inflected on the Jewish people, the weak, and the labeled inferior. I would feel guilty going to Auschwitz after the fact. It is so easily done. Never the less it is my hearts desire to go to Auschwitz Poland that I may repent in ashes and weeping in sack cloth.
Jim, I can wait to be there in that wonderful trip to Poland. I’m very exciting to meet you and your wife Pat. I pray for you travels to Israel in April and May.
Shalom, God Bless
