Think on this: “But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark; and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man.” (Matthew 24:36-39)
Pray on this: Father, give us the desire and discipline to study your Word so that we will be prepared for the last days. Keep us from being clueless like those in the day of Noah. Give insight from your Word that we may be prepared. In Jesus name, AMEN!
Jim is probably correct that we are not yet in the Eschaton, but we in America are certainly under some level of God’s judgment. In Romans, Paul lays out a series of things that will happen under God’s judgment — or in Paul’s words — when “God gives them up”. Read Romans 1:22-32 and consider our current situation in America. It is a sobering commentary on our nation.
Jim you are right on. I do believe that we are in the latter days right now. With the events occurring around the world – chaos, peace being removed, death ramping up, ISIS (ancient Assyrians?) growing and gaining strongholds in many nations, Israel’s isolation (especially by the US), lawlessness abounding. Anti-Antisemitism growing increasingly, Jews returning to the land – Eze 36, 37, signs in the heavens – Blood Moons – Gen 1:14 and on and on I could go. We need to be aware and be like the Men of Issachar – 1 Chr 12:32.
Jesus is showing us that the Trib – Daniel’s Seventieth week is almost here. 1 Th 5:1-7 – we will know the season and the season of His return is fast approaching.
Christians are unaware and are being blinded by the day -2 Cor 4:4. There is much famine in the land but not of thirst – but instead of the word of God being preached in its entirety – Amos 8:11.Many are called but few are chosen.

Thank you JIM; Without reading and studying SCRIPTURE, it’s impossible to get to know GOD and all the wonderful promises and truths HE has for you. You not only will be better equipped for the future, but you will be blessed with HIS perfect peace and assurance every day.
I agree with Jim! I’ve been educating folks, or at least trying to since the 80’s and I know very few really listen. But I’m encouraged because The Lord through His Spirit may get the attention of 1 out of thousands and that 1 could go on to influence many for Yeshua! Noah preached for 100 years and only seven went into the ark. The numbers aren’t the important thing, I leave that to God. Obeying Him and living out our faith and getting the message out is what matters! God Bless brother Jim!
