Think on this: “For Christ, our Passover lamb, has been sacrificed.8 Therefore let us keep the Festival, not with the old bread leavened with malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.” (I Corinthians 5:8)
Pray like this: Gracious Father, at your invitation we do celebrate Passover because Jesus, our Passover Lamb, was sacrificed for us and we especially delight in doing this when we take the bread and the cup of Holy Communions.
Very good/Biblical explanation, Jim. Thank you.
You don’t need a priest to take Holy Communion as Catholics falsely teach. Just open your Bible to Matthew 26:26-30, speak the words of Jesus and take your piece of bread/cracker and wine or juice as substitutes for Jesus’ body. As you draw closer to Jesus, He will draw closer to you.
