The Jewish Community of Dnipro, Ukraine, is large, robust, and deep-rooted. Michael and Inna Rogatchi of The Rogatchi Foundation, dear personal and organizational friends of our founders Jim and Pat Hutchens and long-time partners in Holocaust Education, have generational roots and personal connections to the community in Dnipro.
Inna and Michael personally curated and facilitated the exhibitions of Pat Mercer Hutchens’ original artwork from the Auschwitz Album Revisited in Europe, including Poland. After seeing the reception of the work, Inna organized the artwork to be exhibited in Dnipro, accompanied by our own Shelly Neese.
After decades of working in Ukraine to help develop a Jewish Museum and Cultural Center, a synagogue restoration, an assisted living facility, and both a boys’ and girls’ orphanage, the city is in turmoil and the residents in despair. Inna and her connections, including the esteemed Rabbi Shmuel Kaminetsky, will share with us on how we can help—immediately.
Join us in tangibly assisting the senior Jewish members of Dnipro (as well as the orphans who have been evacuated). Vulnerable people are unable to travel and are at the mercy of war-torn supply lines and a fleeing population.
Inna’s personal connections to the Jewish community of Dnipro means our assistance will be fully realized as blessings to those who need various supplies and resources. Learn more about the story and Click HERE to donate directly to Ukraine Relief.
