Red Alert: Israel’s 75th Anniversary Recap

Welcome to May 31. 2023, Jerusalem Connection Red Alert.

This week we are excited to share just a few of the festivities we participated in on May 17 to celebrate Israel’s 75th anniversary of being an independent nation as well as Jerusalem Day (the reunification of Jerusalem under Israeli rule in 1967).

The Jerusalem Connection family attended the International Allie Foundation’s Israel Allies Caucus annual Jerusalem Day commemoration day on Capitol Hill. Later that evening, the ICEJ along with other Zionist organizations, gathered to celebrate Israel’s 75h Anniversary. Christians and Jews gathered to celebrate Israel’s modern nationhood.

This video includes just a small portion of the distinguished guests and inspiring words of the day.  Shelley Neese and I, along with our entire team, are grateful for this day as we connected with long-time friends and advocates while making new ones as well. While our work is never done on this side of heaven, we relished the joyfulness and rejuvenation the Spirit graced us with resulting from this collaboration of like-minded individuals, organizations, and government representatives. The solidarity was palpable.
