Think on this! “I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone — for kings and all those in authority that we might live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness…” (I Timothy 2:1-2)
 
Pray on this! Our Father, since those in authority over us have refused to govern us according to your will, the way and the wisdom of God, so “that we might live quiet and peaceful lives in all godliness and holiness.  We pray, in Jesus’ name, that you would restrain them and replace them and in the meantime you would “block their path with thornbushes and wall them in so that they cannot find their way.”  (Hosea 2:6) Amen!
