Perhaps this is why Joe Lieberman said “The way this Occupy Wall Street is expressing itself is not reflective of the majority of people in our country”–is not embracing the protesters:
This is a protest aimed at bankers with a certain element who perversely want to blame the Jews for all of this country’s problems. This video—and others—make that much clear. But what’s odd is not that anti-Semitism and conspiracy theorists exists; it’s that Democratic politicians, who were once quick to embrace the movement, haven’t yet condemned the terrible elements of the protesters.
