Think on this: “Don’t let anyone deceive you in any way, for will not come until the apostasy occurs and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the man doomed to destruction. He will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshiped, so that he sets himself up in God’s temple, proclaiming himself to be God.” (2 Thessalonians 2:3-4)
Pray like this: Holy Father, grant your people discernment to recognize that when the 3rd Temple is rebuilt, the Anti-Christ will be revealed to all and shortly after that Jesus our Messiah will return. In Jesus’ name, AMEN!
Why did Israel chose to leave the Temple Mount under Islam control? It seems to be one of the biggest mistakes they made in modern history…
I believe the Israelis wanted to appease the Muslims in the hopes of reconciliation. They have since learned appeasement never works with those who want you dead.
While I agree that the temple will be rebuilt, I do not agree that true believers will still be left on the earth to witness it. Nor do I believe we will encounter anti-Christ. We will have been raptured out of this world by Jesus Himself before these events happen. The Tribulation period starts immediately following the rapture of the church and anti-Christ is revealed to all those left behind. It is a time of God’s wrath on unbelievers and all those who have rejected His Son. God’s wrath is not intended for believers. Read the following scriptures for clarity on this issue: Revelation 3:10; Luke 21:36; Nahum 1:2; 1 Thessalonians 1:9-10; 1 Thessalonians 5:9; Isaiah 26:21; Romans 5:9; Ephesians 5:6; Colossians 3:4; and John 5:24. If you are not looking for Jesus to return, He is not coming for you.
Jim, I believe you have misunderstood the true meaning of 2Thessalonians 2:1-4. Paul is writing to the Thessalonians who were deceived into believing they were living in the last days and had missed the rapture of the church (verse 2- ‘as though the day of Christ had come’). Paul laid out the correct sequence of events in these verses telling them not to be deceived by false teachings. Verse 3 talks of ‘that’ day – the day of Christ coming- -‘will not happen unless the falling away comes first’ is referring to the rapture – the departure from earth comes first, then the anti-Christ is revealed and sits in the temple as God claiming to be God. That is known as the abomination of desolation. The Holy Spirit will leave earth when the rapture happens (verse 7) because Holy Spirit is in all believers; when we leave, He leaves; and then anti-Christ will be revealed to those left on the earth, which are all unbelievers (verse 8). God will send strong delusion to all unbelievers left on the earth to believe the lie because they refused to believe in the truth of God and His Son, Jesus (verse 11). All of these people are condemned because they did not believe the truth of God (verse 12). Therefore, believers will not be left on the earth at this time of Tribulation because believers are not condemned of God. They are redeemed of God.
Thanks so much, Dr Hutchens !!!!! We love and respect you and your ministry !!!
