Think on this! “O God do not keep silent. Be not quiet O God, be not still. See how your enemies growl, how your foes rear their heads. With cunning they conspire against your people. They plot against those you cherish. Come they say let us destroy them as a nation, so that Israel’s name is remembered no more. With one mind they plot together. They form an alliance against you…. Cover their faces with shame, O Yahweh, that men may seek your name. May they ever be ashamed and dismayed; may they perish in disgrace. Let them know that you, whose name is Yahweh — that you alone are the Most High over all the earth.” (Psalm 83:1-5, 16-18)
Pray on this! Almighty God, Yahweh, our gracious heavenly Father, grant our elected leaders in the U.S. and Israel, the moral courage and resolve to stand against the demonic forces that would destroy us in the name of religion. Grant your people the discipline and determination to see the spiritual warfare we are engaged in and to fight it with the spiritual weapons at our disposal. In Jesus name, AMEN.
