Think of this: “I will gather all nations to Jerusalem to fight against it; the city will be captured, the houses ransacked, and the women raped. Half the city will go into exile, but the rest of the people will not be taken from the city. THEN Yahweh will go out and fight against the nations, as he fights in the day of battle. On that day his feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, east of Jerusalem.”… “You will not see me again until you say, ‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of Yahweh.'” (Zechariah 14:2-3, 5; Matthew 23:39)
Pray on this: Heavenly Father, you have told us to “imitate those who by faith and patience inherit what has been promised.” (Hebrews 6:12) Grant us grace to do just that, “While we wait for the blessed hope — the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior, Jesus the Messiah.” (Titus 2:13) Amen and Amen!
