Think on this: ” I have consecrated this temple, which you have built, by putting my name, Yahweh, there forever. My eyes and my heart will always be there.”…”If I forget you, O Jerusalem, may my right hand forget its skill. May my tongue cling to the roof of my mouth if I do not remeber you, if I do not consider Jerusalem my highest joy.” … “Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne? Though she may forget, I will not forget you! See, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands; you walls are ever before me.” (I Kings 9:3; Psalm 137:5-6; Isaiah 49:15-16)
Pray this: Father help us remember your eternal committment to Jerusalem, to see it as the everlasting capital of Israel. Be pleased to use us to keep that before the American people including the churches and pastors in our land. Continue to cause the heartland of our country to support Israel. In Jesus name. AMEN!
