Think on this: “At that time,” declares the LORD, “I will be the God of all the families of Israel, and they will be my people.” This is what the LORD says: “The people who survive the sword will find favor in the wilderness; I will come to give rest to Israel.” (Jeremiah 31:1-2)
Pray on this: Gracious heavenly Father, we claim this promise that Israel will survive the sword—whether that sword comes from Israel’s North, South, East, or West. Your fidelity, Your “everlasting love,” for this tiny nation is a continuous reminder to the world that Your love is forever faithful and true.
