Think on this! “The ruler who will come…he will confirm a covenant with many for ‘seven years’. In the middle of the ‘seven years’ (ie. after 3 1/2 years) he will put an end to sacrifice and offering. And on a wing of the temple he will set up an abomination that causes desolation, until the end that is decreed is poured out on him.” … “No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, But only the Father.” … “What kind of people ought you to be? You ought to live holy and godly lives as you look forward to the day of God and speed its coming.” (Daniel 9:27; Matthew 24:36; II Peter 3:11-12)
Pray on this! Gracious heavenly Father, grant us the wisdom and discernment to “understand the times” that we might live holy and godly lives empowered by your Holy Spirit and so speed the coming of the Day of God.” In Jesus name, AMEN
