Yes, The Jerusalem Connection report is excited to share with you an event you are all invited to!
Israel turns 75 years old this spring! What an amazing thing to consider. An ancient nation with a longstanding people was re-established as the Bible told us it would be!
Not only that, think about the fact that this modern nation is the age of many who were children when it was founded. Even my own adult daughter said, “Wait, Israel is younger than grandma?”
In celebration of history unfolding before our eyes, and the centuries of the dedication of Jews in diaspora preserving their heritage—their faith, their traditions, their scriptures, and more, The ICEJ is hosting two birthday parties. One on May 7 in Nashville Tennessee and one on May 17 in Washington DC. If have an opportunity to travel to either of these cities to attend, we would love to see you there.
Not only are ticket sales available for individuals to purchase, but sponsorships are also available. Families, businesses, churches, or other organizations may consider becoming a sponsor, which includes several tickets and all sponsors are named in the program. Plans are in the works that a copy of the program will be hand-delivered to the Israeli Prime Minister and Knesset in Israel as a tribute to the accomplishments of Israel over the last 75 years.
Program details such as date, time, location, and ticket or sponsorship sales are set! You can access that information NOW and plan your attendance and participation.
Specifics including entertainment and speakers are still being ironed out. For the DC event, the goal is to have a coalition of attendees, many of whom were part of the historic Abraham Accords, to offer remarks during the celebration.
Please check your calendars. If you live in or near either of these cities, or you can travel to either, please consider attending so you can share in the joy and engage with a coalition of organizations that are supporting and cheering on the state of Israel. If you or your business or organization is considering a sponsorship, several levels are available, and you will be included in the program (distributed at both the May 7 and May 17 events) presented to the Knesset this spring.
For those of you in the DC area, other celebratory events are being scheduled around the gala date. As those details are established, I will share them so you can have the opportunity to enjoy several commemorative events while in town.
