With peace seemingly within reach in Israel and her neighbors, and the living hostages finally home—with nearly all the deceased hostages returned (four remain at the time of this writing)—we must continue to pray for clarity, justice, and that terrorists will lay down their arms.
The situation may appear black and white, but the reality is far more complex. Gazans, particularly children, suffer deeply under the weight of corrupt leadership that has perpetuated cycles of violence and despair. Meanwhile, Israelis continue to heal from trauma, recover from injury, and inspire the world with their resilience and hope. As believers, we must educate ourselves on what has unfolded over the past two years, what led to it, and how we can faithfully navigate the future.
That is why this week’s Red Alert Report revisits our November 2024 interview with documentarian Justin Kron.
Why This Conversation Matters
Justin Kron, creator of Hope in the Holy Land, reminds us that the Middle East conflict is complex and often tenuous—even when peace seems possible. His work challenges us to ask the tough questions, confront misinformation, and pursue truth with courage.
The information war is real. Israel faces bias in news media, social media, academia, and even entertainment. Justin’s honest quest for truth and accuracy led to an award-winning documentary, followed by a post–October 7 docu-series that investigates the tangled realities entrapping people in the Holy Land.
Through his lens, we see beyond mainstream narratives, equipping ourselves with the knowledge and discernment needed to advocate for Israel and combat misinformation. His work even raises a provocative question: Is being Zionist also being pro-Palestinian? Justin suggests that supporting Israel may, in fact, be the only path toward improving the lives of many Arabs in the region.
