Feb. 21 marks the 137th day since Oct. 7 which means 137 days the hostages remain in captivity.
This is 3.5 months. This is a full financial quarter. This is a semester in many schools. This is a monumental amount of time for an infant or small child. It is an eternity for someone missing their medications. This is hell with no bounds for a man or woman enduring sexual, physical and psychological abuse by the hands of their captors.
Let’s keep a few things in mind…
- Civilian hostage-taking is a war crime.
The Red Cross has not been able to visit with, check on, or get medicine to the hostages all while Hamas rejects proposed plans for a ceasefire (on the condition the hostages are returned—including their bodies.)
Keep in mind…
- Recent footage shows Hamas operatives shooting children and other civilians for accessing the aid being trucked into Gaza specifically for the civilians. And the footage of Hamas shooting civilians trying to flee cities that the IDF warned via text message, leaflets, and phone calls that would be soon attacked to root out terrorists.
Keep in mind…
- Hamas is keeping civilians and hostages as shields in hospitals, schools, and private residences to protect themselves and have fodder for a biased press when Israel does make a maneuver.
Last week two hostages in Rafah were rescued by IDF in an operation—keep in mind US President Biden and others discouraged Israel from even taking any action in Rafah.
Israel is being accused of war crimes when Hamas is committing the war crimes and the IDF is doing its best to maneuver around them—including when the IDF moved in on a hospital finding terrorists combatants dressed in medical garb. The IDF was accused of a war crime for infiltrating a medical facility, but the medical facility was a rouse, and the uniformed medical personnel were actually terrorists.
Let’s get some stats:
Israel’s current operations have a civil casualty rate of 2:1.
This is the lowest recorded history of modern military history—especially in urban warfare.
The US has not come close to this in the last century—not in Afghanistan, Iraq, or anywhere else in the last century.
When you see images of Gazan cities leveled, also have a look at images (do a quick Google) of Dresden Germany, Berlin, Germany, and occupied cities such as Normandy and Paris, France, in the aftermath of WWII.
Remind yourselves when you watch the news and reports of so-called civilian deaths are reported—who is the source of these numbers? The deceitful devils that ordered children burned in their beds, women raped, elderly beaten and burned—they will lie and repeat it over and over again until you believe it. The spirit of Amalek emerges each century with no new tricks—just better technology.
Oh, and let’s not forget the UNWRA employees who participated and aided in Oct. 7 and the Gaza hospital workers colluding with the terrorists—all on camera and documented by the IDF.
The next time you see protests in the West in the streets and riots in front of children’s hospitals, highway off-ramps, libraries, or schools—all calling for “Free Palestine,” ceasefire, and from the river to the sea,
Ask yourself…
- Free Palestine from what or whom?
- Who is supposed to ceasefire?
- What about the 134+ civilian hostages—who, if not dead, are being abused in unspeakable ways
- What is a war crime and who is committing it?
- And from what sea to what river do you want to see free (and what about the people already there) and what government or leadership would emerge?
Israel is facing yet another iteration of Amalek. This history is clear and repeats itself. This time, however, the destruction of Amalek’s spirit goes beyond Israel and its surrounding areas. We have the spirit manifesting in Europe, North America, Australia, –everywhere.
As Chaim Bentorah noted in a Nov. 2023 article,
“Even today our modern Amalekites, Hamas, are being used by the enemy to cast doubt. Doubt over the right of Israel to defend itself, doubt over Israel’s desire for peace, doubt of the sincerity of Israel to create a Palestinian nation.” Chaim Bentorah
God warns us not to forget the deeds of Amalek, which Hamas and other Isis groups imitate without hesitation or shame.
Deuteronomy 25:17: Remember what Amalek did unto thee by the way as you came forth out of Egypt.
God’s glory, His will, and His word are all immutable and will come to pass with or without us—as Christians, it is our duty to participate in God’s plans, pray for His people and His will, and act in ways that support his decrees. Indifference and silence are collaboration with the enemy of God.
Just as the Israelites were given a choice, to choose death or life (Deuteronomy 30:19), we need to choose life and that means fighting on the side of life, of Israel, and against death that is Hamas and its partner terrorist regimes.
