If you are on our mailing list, you will receive a letter soon with an update and overview of our main projects. If you regularly contribute online, you will get that letter via email. For the rest of our network and followers, I wanted to share with you our goings-on.
The summer months are often the slowest in revenue for ministries as supporters are busy with vacations, preparing for a new school year, or simply taking some time off from daily obligations and routines. Yet, our ministry has not halted our efforts and activities; our projects remain in full force.
We are grateful that 2022 allowed us to return to in-person venues. Yet, the economic climate is proving hostile as gas prices are at an all-time high and inflation is affecting the cost of even our most basic supplies. We trust in our Provider to ensure the needs of each of you as well as the projects are met.
Our mission to inform, educate, and activate Christians to support Israel and the Jewish people as God has instructed us to do, in love and solidarity, our obligation and heart for our projects remains constant and resolute despite economic uncertainty. I want to remind you of some of our major initiatives.
The Red Alert Report*: these weekly YouTube news videos delivered via email and released on our social media and blog pages examines the topics of antisemitism and antizionism as they manifest in our society locally and around the world.
The Bible Fiber* Podcast is Shelley Neese’s weekly study examining the insights and messages of the Minor Prophets. The message of the prophets has been a weekly reminder of God’s full redemption plan. These teaching are released via email, posted on our blog page, YouTube Channel, accessible, for free and forever, wherever you access Podcasts.
*We develop and produce the red alert and bible fiber episodes in-house without outsourcing thus avoiding added expenses.
The Hebrew University Scholarship Program is something I have been reporting on for quite some time as we examine the issues of antisemitism on college campuses. This scholarship program is a continual project that helps send a Christian college student from the United States to study in Israel at Hebrew University. This opportunity allows for the truth of Israel to be experienced in a genuine way for each student so they may develop a life-long love of Israel and impact their generation.
The Auschwitz Album Revisited/Holocaust Education efforts slowed down during the shutdown, at which time Shelley, our president, took the time to create the Album booklet for wide distribution and educational uses. Additionally, sharing Pat Hutchen’s art and the history of the Holocaust at in-person events resumed this past spring, engaging entire communities is essential to teach accurate history (especially when school systems are failing at this objective). These in-person exhibitions are back in the planning stages for 2022 and 2023 events. We will keep you informed as those schedules are solidified.
Ukraine Relief: After assisting with an initial Aliyah out of Ukraine in Spring 2022, we have an ongoing effort to provide resources to those elderly Jewish Community in Dnipro, Ukraine, who are unable to relocate or flee.
Operation Life (Pro-Life efforts in Israel): Messianic Jew Sandy Shoshani’s organization reaches directly into the community to help moms in crisis pregnancy have the resources and encouragement to choose life. The mission also includes changing the accepted mindset in Israel that abortion is acceptable.
