After posting so many recipes on this site for dips and hummus, I realized that I should include a quick recipe for making homemade pita chips.
Ingredients
6 pitas
¼ cup olive oil
½ teaspoon salt
Directions
1) Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
2) Cut each pita into 8 triangles and line them up on a cookie sheet.
3) Brush each triangle with olive oil and sprinkle them with salt.
4) Bake for about 7 minutes, watching them carefully to be sure they don’t burn.
