Good things!
On June 8, 2022, Jerusalem Day was celebrated in Israel and on Capitol Hill in the US. The Jerusalem Connection was invited to the Rayburn Building on Capitol Hill to share in the festivities. Hosted by The Israel Allies Foundation (IAF) in conjunction with the Israel Allies Caucus (60 bi-partisan members of the United Stated Congress), we gathered to be inspired by the hard work on the Hill and by legislatures around the globe (thanks to the IAF) to keep Israel’s history, importance, security, and wellbeing on the agenda of US law and policy.
Jerusalem Day celebrates the reunification of East and West Jerusalem after the Six-Day War in 1967. It is the youngest holiday on the Hebrew calendar. We proclaim Jerusalem as the eternal and undivided capital of Israel, so we are excited to share in the celebration.
Join us today to hear just a few congressional representatives share their passion for Israel and why they are part of the Caucus. Reflecting on this special day in modern Israel history, The Jerusalem Connection is excited to be partnered with organizations that share our perspective and mission on Israel and the Jewish people.
