Think on this: “Everyone who wants to live a godly life in Messiah Jesus will be persecuted.” (II Timothy 3:12)
Pray on this: Father, grant us boldness and grace to endure to the end, even in the face of persecution, we pray in Jesus’ name, AMEN!

My husband and I believer this is the right word and a warning for what’s coming upon us! Thank you for the wisdom that only the Lord gives to you and for sharing with us! Blessings, FrNces and Tommie Peterson
Jim could not agree more. In fact, our government shouldn’t try to eliminate hate speech, because Jesus said in Luke 21:17 “You will be hated by all for my name’s sake.” Some in the secular world would try to eliminate hate speech as articles like this one discuss
https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/volokh-conspiracy/wp/2015/05/07/no-theres-no-hate-speech-exception-to-the-first-amendment/ but as you said Jim we will be persecuted and even hated because we follow Christ.
The couple in Oregon who refused to bake a wedding cake for a homosexual couple are being persecuted by our government for their Christian faith. So is the photographer who refused to photograph a homosexual wedding and the Sisters of the Poor for refusing to adhere to contraceptive mandates. Folks, persecution is here and it will get worse. We are soldiers in the army of the living God. Pray for courage, boldness, and the strength to endure to the end.
