While President Abbas claims that Jesus was a Palestinian messenger, the reality is that “Jesus was not a Palestinian, he was a Judean Jew.”
“Contrary to what some might think,” Danny Ayalon explains, “there never existed a Kingdom of Palestine, or any other Palestinian political entity.”
In a recent video, “The REAL Truth about Palestine in Response to Danny Ayalon,” the main character argues about the right of Israel to exist in the region of Palestine.
Now, explaining the history of Palestine, Danny goes all the way back to the Greco-Roman occupation of the area. He explains that “Palestine was the Greco-Roman name for a region. But like Antarctica, the Amazons or Sahara, naming a place doesn’t create a nation. In the year 135 AC, the name of the region became the official name of one of the provinces of the Roman Empire in an attempt to obliterate the connection between the Jewish people and Judea -the land they’ve inhabited for over 1000 years.”
While the Roman Empire did not succeed in obliterating the connection between the Jewish people and Judea, the Palestinian Authority and Hamas have been quite successful in reducing the number of Christian Believers in these areas.
The Christian population in the Palestinian Authority-ruled Bethlehem has dropped from 67% of the population in 1990 to only 19% and the number of Christians in Hamas-ruled Gaza has dropped by 45% from 2007-2011.
