Think on this! “They dress the wound of my people as though it were not serious. ‘Peace, peace,’ they say, when there is no peace.” … “And he will be called Wondrful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and peace there will be no end.” (Jeremiah 6:14, 8:11; Isaiah 9:6-7)
Pray on this! Heavenly Father grant that we may view our enemies through the prism of the Scriptures rather than the dreams and fantasies of men. Grant us a realistic understanding of the forces that would destroy us and the resolve to take the necessary steps to confront them. We trust in you, LORD of the Armies, to be our Guide and our Guard. In Jesus’ name. Amen
As the eighth night of HANUKAH approaches @ sunset, the light on Jim’s face (& the light in his eyes) emanates kindness in discussing these darkening conditions. The conflict is ancient – but not eternal.
Sobering truth(s) at the 5-minute mark brighten his countenance even more! {The “ENTRANCE OF THY WORD BRINGS LIGHT”, right?) So as candles are kindled, a blest rest of the shared 3rd day of Christmas & 7th day of ‘Dedication’ (Hanukah)…
