Why not make Jerusalem the first issue to be dealt with, and not the last?
And it shall happen in that day that I will make Jerusalem a very heavy stone for all peoples; all who would heave it away will surely be cut in pieces, though all nations of the earth are gathered against it. (Zechariah 12:3)
First Palestinian Arab study groups, backed by their political and religious leaders, declared that there was no evidence that a Jewish Temple ever stood on the Temple Mount. Now, in a just-published study, the Palestinian Authority is insisting that the Western Wall, too, has no historical connection to the Jewish people.
With these outrageous lies, the Palestinian leadership is preparing to stake its claim to “East Jerusalem:” International pressure must be brought to bear on Israel to hand over these parts of the city, which “have no connection to the Jewish people,” so they can be made into the exclusive capital of their Palestinian state.
As this Arab demand and condition for any peace agreement with Israel is a non-negotiable, Israel would be wise and do well to make Jerusalem the first item for discussion and not the last. Indeed, if it becomes clear there is no give and take on “East” Jerusalem, as certainly will become clear, then this city, as the Bible has already remarkably foretold, will become a stone too heavy for all the nations of the world to lift. After years of praying diligently to return to that place where their God made His dwelling between the cherubim in the Holy of Holies, the vast majority of Jews will refuse a peace that will see that place excluded from their territory.
For who can fathom a situation arising where indeed, for peace sake, a majority of Israelis will be willing to forfeit their ancient city and Temple Mount? Certainly the Muslim Palestinians will never, not even for peace sake, be willing to lay aside their claim – and this not withstanding the fact that Jerusalem is not mentioned even one single time in their Quran!!
Even if – God forbid – the unthinkable would happen, that Israel’s will would crumble under the incessant demands of the Arabs, and the Jews would withdraw not only from all of the “territories” but also from the eastern side of their ancient capital – even this would not bring peace. Instead it would be readily used by the now radicalized Muslim world as a stepping-stone to further dismantle Israel.
Let us not forget that the PLO was formed in 1964 – three years before the outbreak of the Six Day War – not to liberate the then already Arab-controlled ‘West Bank’ but to “liberate” all of Israel!
Well, was it said, therefore, by the eminent military historian Dr. Uri Milstein, as quoted in Arutz Sheva on November 5, 2010:
The problem, Milstein says, is the left. “In the leftist bastions of Ramat Aviv and Kfar Shmaryahu, they are still convinced that peace will come if we give up Judea and Samaria and the Golan. They probably won’t change their minds even if missiles rain down on Tel Aviv. The only way they will change their mind is if we do surrender these areas, and they find that the Arabs still make war against us.”
AMEN.
Change the names and dates in present day newspapers, and you have the same headlines from 30 and 40 years ago. Each phase of interaction by the community of nations standing w/ the Palestinian leaders against Israel sees a requirement of “giving up” something on the part of Israel, with an empty promise from her enemies. Israel gives up a little, and then receives broken promises in return with a new demand.
“My spirit will not always strive with man….” Genesis 6, applies to the modern nations (United States included) that bring to bear improper pressure on Israel to “give up something” in order to have peace and recognition.
Prayer on behalf of Israel is the answer. “…Ye that are the Lord’s remembrancers, take ye no rest, and give him no rest, til he establish, and till he make Jerusalem a praise in the earth”. Isaiah 62: 6,7 ASV.
What more assuring and urgent guidance does the Lord need to give us to see Israel blessed?
I am speechless. These murdering rapist arabs expect now to be handed the Kotel and the Temple Mount. I think the time has arrived for the Jews to put their heads together. The only answer is to rid Israel COMPLETELY of even the tiniest trace that arabs ever set foot on the Holy Land of Israel… particularly, Jerusalem. The Jews have done some crazy things like handing over vast parts of the Holy Land to those filthy arabs. STOP IT ISRAEL. Awaken from your slumber. The DOGS ARE AT THE DOOR WAITING TO RAVISH YOU ALL ONE BY ONE. You know just as the rest of the world knows that the arabs belong in the deserts and not in civilized areas. Not another sq. centimeter to be handed over to these murdering palestinians. Palestine is in the deserts of Saudi Arabia somewhere. Send them all packing back home. G-d be with all the Jews worldwide, but particularly in Israel at this time.
JULIE says it all ! Enough is enough! Awake Israel ! Every arab MUST be rooted out of the Holy Land and all the land that they have robbed Israel of MUST be returned. G-d , bless your land and your people.
Making peace with the Muslim’s is making peace with the Devil….If Israel gives up Jerusalem to Satan, then Israel will also endure the wrath of G-D.. Eliminate your enemy, and pay NO attention to world leaders that are working against you! Obama is Israel’s and the United States’ enemy! DO NOT listen to this worker of evil..he is a friend of your enemy!
Israel will be helping herself, and the true American (who love Israel) to eliminate this threat upon the whole world..we are looking TO Israel to stand up and fight! You have our support!
Zechariah 12:3. Jerusalem will be an immovable rock as the nations gather around her.
We all have to pray for Israel because the God of peace promised to Abraham.Look and study the ARAB and muslem history, since mohammed and his follower used violence to reach thier AIM.tThey concer under the name of GOD so which god gave order to kill, rape, arabizing cultures. There is only one way to arabs muslem .let all historian socialogist to review the muslem how they advanced to each place on earth. They invaded Jeruselm many times because god said,so abraham was before mohammed 4000 years.Pray for israel in christ name AMIN
I am not a Bible Scholar nor a Historian but from what I know of the Love of Christ and His Love for mankind and especially the Jewish Nation, don’t you think it’s time the Jewish Nation draw a line and lay claim to what is theirs and recreate a peace loving Nation for all who share God’s promise and end the bickering once and for all. Once the rest of us see and understand what they lay claim to, get use to it, and be willing to abide by Biblical Prophesy and defend it accordingly, we will be a better World. We in the rest of the world are being invaded by the same evil ideology as Israel and we too need to draw a line in defense of our Constitution and our borders before we loose our Nation to the same aggression. We were created as a Christian Nation so are we going to defend it or let it slip away? It’s time for change alright but not the kind we’re being subjected to. Christian and Jew need to Unite and take a stand now before we loose any more ground, literally. If the Lord is ready to end all this nonsense in our world, I vote for His return, ASAP.
As I read the comments above I am not filled with hope or joy. I guess it is hard to find Joy in war or surrender. I am not pleased the way we put verbiage of our enemy as well. The words are more than likely very accurate but they provide no positive growth. In the end as with history our Father likes to help out when all things are impossible for man to solve on his own. I think Faith is what we need, now we must have hears to hear how to apply this faith and let or Father of Abram, Isaac and Jacob show us the way. As a man I want to go to war, as a parent I want to fight for Freedom so my child has a better world. As a brother in Christ I must kneel down and pray for my enemy. I look and listen for the wise to stand strong and make statements that give me hope but I see none, and I have no place to turn for answers but in Jesus. Trust is hard when we know the pain is going to get worse, but again I must say this has always been the way of our Father (we must stop trying to solve this as people but solve this by faith in GOD). As stated above this will not end without doing as the Torah has stated, this is your land do not give it away. I do know through our Father in the end all will be well. I am not sure how all can be well on the road to the end. With that said I would rather suffer doing the correct thing than suffer under the hand of my enemy.
May our Father of Abram Isaac and Jacob bless Israel and your house.

Brother Larry A. Miller has it right.
GOD BLESS You !
Facing the Arab Islamics’ bad faith(that’s faith in their own lies),
I feel the spirit of Jonah-before-Redemption, that is the Jonah whose most beautiful
dream is of Niniveh engulfed by a pyroclastic cloud.
My own fancy is of Mecca becoming Meteor Crater at Hajj time.
However as a sinner redeemed BY THE BLOOD OF JESUS-CHRIST,
I have to accept to carry my heaviest cross which is to pray for and love my enemies.
Hatred for one’s enemies is very sweet to palate and tongue, but later it’s hellfire in
the head when GOD REVEALS to us their ultimate fate due to our own malevolence.
(Ezekiel iii:18)
I confess to having no dearth of wordly capitals I would like to see crowned by a
thermonuclear mushroom.
And that If GOD TELLS me to go and warn them, my first reaction will be the
same as Jonah’s, and not for fear of not being heeded, or for being beheaded !
Quite the contrary !!!
However our GOD IS ONE WHO DECLARES EXPRESSLY AS HAVING NO PLEASURE In
the death of the wicked, BUT AS ONE WHO DELIGHTS IN That the wicked repents,
and changes his ways and be saved.(Ezekiel xviii : 23, xxxiii : 11)
Well, what more do we need to be told ?
