1/2 cup shortening or butter
1 cup sugar
2 ounces unsweetened chocolate, melted
1/2 cup sifted matzo cake meal
1/2 teaspoon table salt
1 cup coarsely chopped walnuts
1. Cream shortening and sugar together. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Beat until fluffy.
2. Stir in melted chocolate, then fold in cake meal and salt. Stir in walnuts.
3. Pour into greased 8″ square baking pan. Bake in preheated 350°F oven for 30 minutes.
