Think on this: “Blessed is the one who reads the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear it and take to heart what is written in, because the time is near” (Revelation 1:3)
Pray like this: Father, move your people to read the prophetic scriptures that they may be prepared for the future darkness, in Jesus’ name, AMEN!
It is good that Evangelical Christians support Israel today, especially conservative Bible-believing one’s – not all so-called Evangelical’s are really conservative biblically. But we also know that National Israel will suffer profoundly during the Tribulation, and especially the Great Tribulation (Zech. 13: 8-9), as too biblical Christians. The Rapture is Post-Trib, noting 2 Thess. 2: 1!
Surely Biblical Christians and Jews will be hated even more as the Eschatological Day approaches! Note 2 Thess. 2: 3 and “the apostasy” is being fulfilled as we speak, the Last Antichrist is on the horizon, and the Visible Church (as Israel) will see him! (Luke 18: 7-8 / 2 Thess. 2: 8-13).
Come Lord Jesus!
I completely agree with your statement (“Christians are totally unprepared for the future!”) and advice (to read/reread often Mt 24, 1 & 2 Th, and Rv). It’s simple enough that even children can understand, but the truth has been hidden from most of our pastors and the people who rely on them, just like it describes in 2 Tm 4:3-4. 🙁
Sadly, many if not most of the Historical Church’s are asleep, and or in apostasy, as my own communion, generally. But, God does have His People, see Matt. 25: 1-13, and the Parable of the Ten Virgins. God’s regenerate people believe and respond to the true saving Gospel! (Titus 1: 1-2, etc.)
Hi Robert,
Yes, praise the Lord for opening our eyes, and the rest of the wise virgins. The last seven years I’ve been working on a book and my title is currently named after the parable of the wise and foolish virgins. How I understand it, the foolish virgins apostatize while they wait longer than they had planned. Their lamps are going out around midnight, and by then, it’s too late to remedy the situation.
I saw your other comment after I finished mine this morning. The Lord opened my eyes concerning the post-Tribulation resurrection-gathering of the Church when I was a 16 or 17 years old. Glad you know it, too.
God bless you.
Jesus is our Blessed Hope! But what kind of hope do believers have to look forward to going through the Tribulation where Satan unleashes his fury on people and God unleashes wrath? The answer is none. God has not appointed true believers to wrath. Wrath is reserved for unbelievers, not believers. Therefore, I believe in the Pre-Trib Rapture as stated in Rev 3:10, Rev 4:1, Luke 21:36, Nahum 1:2, 1 Thess 1:9-10, 1 Thess 5:9, Isaiah 26:21, Romans 5:9, Ephesians 5:6, Col 3:4, Hebrews 9:28, and John 5:24 . If you are not watching for Christ, He is not coming for you.
