Think on this: “Just as you were at one time disobedient to God and have now received mercy as a result of their disobedience, so they too have now become disobedient in order that they too may now receive mercy as a result of God’s mercy to you.” (Romans 11:30-31)
Pray like this: Gracious Father, help Christians the world over to show mercy to Jews and to Israel, especially in view of the coming afflictions of the “Day of Jacob’s trouble.” In Jesus name, AMEN!
Wow! Excellent – I am sending this to my friends, who, with me, have pondered this question. You have given a wonderful response. Thank you!
Salvation has come to the Gentiles to make the Jews JEALOUS! How many in the church, how many Pastors and believers understand this? What are we doing to make Jews jealous of our faith and relationship with the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob?? May He open our eyes to see how great a blessing awaits the church when we “get it.” It will be life from the dead (v. 15)!! Too many ARE “haughty/arrogant” against the native olive branches (v. 18) and risk missing he blessings of YHWH!
