Think on this: “Cover their faces with shame so that men will seek your name, O Yahweh. May they ever be ashamed and dismayed; may they perish in disgrace. Let them know that you, whose name is Yahweh — that you alone are the most High over all the earth.” (Psalm 83:16-18)
Pray on this: Gracious Father, by your enabling grace grant that by your Holy Spirit we may indeed understand things to come and prepare accordingly. Grant that we may unashamedly proclaim and exalt the name of Yahweh that you may praised as the Most High over all the earth. In Jesus name, AMEN!
Well said, Jim. If one believes the rhetoric of President Obama, everything is peachy keen and we have nothing to fear. Isis isn’t Islamic, we’re not at war, the terrorists can’t reach us, and on and on with the lies, delusions, and deceptions of this administration. The exact opposite is true. Many in this country are finally starting to wake up from their slumber and smell the coffee. We are purposely being deceived. Things are not as they seem. We are at war with radical Islamic terrorists who hate us for who we are. They’re not coming for us, they are already here. Hundreds have been apprehended crossing our southern border from many different middle eastern countries. Have you seen that on any news channel other than FOX? And yet, Johnson, Secretary of Homeland Security stated at a hearing yesterday on Capitol Hill that he’d heard rumors to that effect but would neither confirm nor deny its accuracy. This administration would rather lie to the American people than admit its foreign policy has failed. Does that make you feel safe? This evil administration is leading us down the path of slaughter and destruction. Pray for America and our leaders.
Well said Marie, and I do pray in regard to American leadership as well as the leadership of those countries who influence the world stage, also always for Israel and her leaders. Thank you Dr. Jim Hutchens for your voice of reason in an all to often unreasonable world.
Jeremiah 18:7-8: At what instant shall I speak concerning a nation, and concerning a kingdom, to pluck up, and to pull down, and to destroy it; If that nation, against whom I have pronounced, turn from their evil, I will repent of the evil I thought to do unto them.
This is America today, but not only America. Israel regards ISIL as an existential threat and will deal with them severely if the nation itself is threatened. No phony negotiations or “management” or a persistent threat.
Daniel chapter 4 is also relevant to the present hour, especially v. 17. Thank you Jim. Well done, and carry on.
