Think on this: “I have posted watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem; they will never be silent day or night. You who call on the LORD, give yourselves no rest, and give him no rest till he establishes Jerusalem and makes her the praise of the earth.” Isaiah 62: 7-8
Pray on this: Heavenly Father, as Christians who stand in support of Israel we repent for Christianity’s long history of persecuting Jews. We thank you for our rich spiritual heritage and Hebrew roots. And we ask for strength as we strive to honor the Biblical command to bless Israel. Amen.
Thank you for so clearly stating for us a response for a question which IS often asked. I heartily agree with you and will certainly use this excellent, concise response!
Thanks all! I love your comments. There is a movement and we are all part of it! -Shelley
Iam a CHRISTIAN ZIONIST and am proud of my HEBREW roots. I thank GOD for rescuing me from the darkness of ignorance and showing me that I’m a descendent of ABRAHAM through faith. For without JUDAISM, there would be no CHRISTIANITY.
Indeed Jesus was a Jew! And true Christianity can be nothing less, than Judeo-Christian! Yes, I am a “Biblical” Zionist! (John 4:22 / Rom. 9: 3-5 ; 15:8-9).
I think that every religious Jew and Christian has an ulterior motive and that is to help G-d fulfill his promisses. As a Jew, our test is to learn and follow the Torah (while re-settling our homeland). Our motive is to bring non-religious Jews and other believers with us to fulfill this task. The non-Jews have an even more difficult task and that is to rise above the exceedingly powerful pressure to marginalize and accuse the Jew and to return us to our land and to our G-d, this is your inheritance. We need more of you to bring us back home.
Great teaching! We look forward to the upcoming explanations that should help us to better represent our convictions.
I too am a CHRISTIAN ZIONIST and if I must be labeled, wear that label proudly. Can’t think of a better one. I agree completely that we who are drawn to supporting Israel do so without ulterior motives. I believe it is what is sometimes called ‘a God thing’ and am grateful for it. I could go on
but others have expressed it so much better. Without them there would be no Christianity and as such we owe them a tremendous debt.
OUTSTANDING SHELLEY. ME TOO SISTER, ME TOO.
And your life shows it Brandy!
