Think on this: “The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective. Elijah was a human being, even as we are. He prayed earnestly that it would not rain, and it did not rain on the land for three and a half years. Again he prayed, and the heavens gave rain, and the earth produced its crops.” (James 5:16-18)
Pray on this: Heavenly Father, as Elijah prayed for rain on Mt. Carmel, we come to you with the same request. Be pleased to send an abundance of heavy rains that will not only extinguish the fires on Mt. Carmel but bring to an end to drought, the dryness and the aridity in the land and fill the reservoirs of Israel to overflowing. In Jesus name we pray!
Dr. Jim Hutchens:
I did hear that Israel got the rain today that is helping put out these terrible fires. We are getting nearer to the time of; “Jacobs or Yacob’s Trouble”! Also the time soon when the new temple is erected for: “The Abomination of Desolation’! My prayers are ever day for the, Shalom of Yarusalem!
Shalom Aleichem
I Was very moveed by the heartfelt prayer, yet very confused on the kabbalah diagram in the back ground. That so nears the occult and we are warned over and over to flee from evil.Could you please help me understand why this and not a menorah is in the back gorund?
Thanks for this DeeDee. We are making the changes to the background to replace the diagram.
@Mary Lynn: Jacob’S Trouble was the Holocaust. The fire is terrible but the Holocaust was the very happening that applies to the term of Jacob’s Trouble. There is no third Holocaust in the Word of God and there won’t be any further Holocaust in future history. Please get things into perspective. We are to comfort, comfort the Apple of His Eye and not sit from our comfortable living rooms discussing that the “time of Jacob’s Trouble is still coming. It is unfortunately one wrong teaching that is laming the church today to get the help out to Israel whenever possible. Thank you and God bless you.
sorry – correction:
The last line must read: It is unfortunately one wrong teaching that is laming the church today – so rather get the help out to Israel whenever possible.
We pray for Israel every day, and we are praying that there will be an abundance of rain. Elijah prayed and G-d listened, and I believe He is hearing our prayer.
Blessings,
